WHAT IS “VANGUARD?”

VANGUARD: the foremost division or the front part of an army; advance guard. The foremost of any movement, field, or activity. 

As Israel marched through the wilderness, they camped by divisions. It was the division of Judah that was instructed to move first when the cloud of God’s glory lifted from the tent. They were the ones who went first, who moved forward to take the children of Israel out of their wilderness and into the Promised Land. 

Somebody has to go first! It is Judah who moves forward to take territory. 

It is time for the Remnant to rise up in the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost. It is time for us to contend for this generation. It is the hour for the Church to step into the fullness of what Jesus paid for at the Cross. 

Vanguard Ministries exists to be a frontline ministry. We want to be a holy provocation; to provoke the Church toward revival and the lost toward repentance.
